An 8Gb/s Transceiver with 3×-Oversampling 2-Threshold Eye-Tracking CDR Circuit for -36.8dB-loss Backplane
Koji Fukuda,Hiroki Yamashita,Fumio Yuki,Masayoshi Yagyu,Ryo Nemoto,Takashi Takemoto,Tatsuya Saito,Norio Chujo,Kasho Yamamoto,Hisaaki Kanai,A. Hayashi +10 more
TL;DR: A 90nm CMOS 8Gb/s transceiver is developed that achieves a BER of less than 10-12 through a 160cm backplane board with -36.8dB loss at 4GHz and a transceiver power consumption of 232mW.
Journal ArticleDOI
Design of a 4 $\times$ 10 Gb/s VCSEL Driver Using Asymmetric Emphasis Technique in 90-nm CMOS for Optical Interconnection
Kenichi Ohhata,Hironori Imamura,Yoshiki Takeshita,Kiichi Yamashita,Hisaaki Kanai,Norio Chujo +5 more
TL;DR: In this article, an asymmetric emphasis technique that can separately control the emphasis pulses at the rising and falling edges is proposed, which allows fast transition in VCSEL output waveform suppressing ringing.

Minute Signal Detection Method and System
TL;DR: In this paper, a system for power-saving, low-cost, and general minute signal detection is presented, which includes a circuit that converts and amplifies an input signal, a nonlinear analog front-end circuit that determines the existence of a minute signal from the input signal and outputs information on the same as an event signal, an analog-to-digital-conversion circuit that drives operation-mode control based on the event signal and performs analog to digital conversion on the converted and amplified input signal.

Circuit board provided and transmission device with the same mounted
TL;DR: In this paper, a circuit board is formed so that the detection terminal in a group of the plurality of conductive layers contacts with the drill which dig the through hole and a group which does not contact the drill, respectively.
Patent
Facility management device and method
TL;DR: In this paper, a data acquisition unit for acquiring data relating to the device operation status and a clustering unit for classifying the feature amounts extracted by the feature amount extraction unit to create clusters, a labeled-data creating unit for creating data in which the classifications classified by the clustering units are labeled with the clustered device operation statuses to which the classified feature amounts belong, and a memory unit for storing the data created by the labeled data creating unit and outputting the determination results.
