Journal ArticleDOI

Time-reversal symmetry-breaking superconductivity in heavy-fermion PrOs4Sb12 detected by muon-spin relaxation.

TL;DR: The results reveal the spontaneous appearance of static internal magnetic fields below the superconducting transition temperature, providing unambiguous evidence for the breaking of time-reversal symmetry in the superconductor state.
Journal ArticleDOI

Multiple superconducting phases in new heavy fermion superconductor PrOs4Sb12

TL;DR: The superconducting gap structure of recently discovered heavy fermion superconductor PrOs4Sb12 was investigated by using thermal transport measurements in magnetic field rotated relative to the crystal axes to infer that the gap functions in both phases have a point node singularity, in contrast to the familiar line nodes singularity observed in almost all unconventional superconductors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Anomalous transport properties of R Fe 4 P 12 ( R = La, Ce, Pr, and Nd)

TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the resistivity, thermoelectric power (TEP), and Hall coefficient on high-quality single crystals of $R{\mathrm{Fe}}.
Journal ArticleDOI

Anomalous heavy-fermion and ordered states in the filled skutterudite PrFe 4 P 12

TL;DR: In this paper, the Schottky contribution was used as a highly sensitive on-site probe for the Pr magnetic moment, and an upper bound for the ordered moment was established.
