Two New Diphenoxo-Bridged Discrete Dinuclear CuIIGdIII Compounds with Cyclic Diimino Moieties: Syntheses, Structures, and Magnetic Properties
TL;DR: In this article, two Schiff base compartmental ligands derived from the condensation of 3-ethoxysalicylaldehyde with 1,2-diaminocyclohexane and orthophenylenediamine, respectively, were used to isolate two diphenoxo-bridged discrete dinuclear Cu I I Gd I I I complexes.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structural correlation of catecholase-like activities of oxy-bridged dinuclear copper(II) complexes.
TL;DR: The catecholase activity of complexes for the oxidation of 3,5-di-tert-butylcatechol by O2 was studied and it was found that the complexes with the bond distance of Cu(II)...Cu(II) located at 2.9-3.0 A show higher catechlase activity.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structure and magnetic properties of dinuclear [Mn(III)(salen)(H2O)]2(ClO4)2 and polynuclear [Mn(III)(salen)(NO3)]n
TL;DR: In this paper, the synthesis, crystal structure and magnetic properties of dinuclear [Mn(III)(salen)(H2O)]2(ClO4)2 (1) and polynuclear [mn[III]-salen(NO3)]n (2) (salen=N,N′-bis(salicylideneaminato)ethylene) are reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Magnetostructural correlations and catecholase-like activities of μ-alkoxo-μ-carboxylato double bridged dinuclear and tetranuclear copper(II) complexes
TL;DR: In this article, the properties of the tetranuclear Cu(II) complexes were investigated and a single crystal X-ray analysis showed that the structures of complexes 1 and 2 are dimeric with two adjacent copper atoms bridged by μ-alkoxo-μ-carboxylato ligands with the Cu⋯Cu distances and CuÕOÕ angles.
Journal ArticleDOI
Preparation, characterization and crystal structure of [Ni(bpy)3][Fe(CN)5(NO)]3H2O and one-dimensional cyano-bridged [Ni(en)2Fe(CN)5(NO)]H2O

TL;DR: In this paper, the double complexes [Ni(bpy)3][Fe(CN)5(NO)]3H2O (1) and [Ni (en)2Fe(cn)5 (NO)]H 2O (2) have been characterized by X-ray analysis, IR, EPR, Mossbauer spectroscopy and magnetic measurements.
