Journal ArticleDOI

Classical-Quantum Correspondence for Above-Threshold Ionization

TL;DR: An intuitive quantum-trajectory Monte Carlo model encoded with Feynman's path-integral approach is developed, in which the Coulomb effect on electron trajectories and interference patterns are fully considered, and a good agreement with the measured PADs of atoms for above-threshold ionization.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fast ignition by laser driven particle beams of very high intensity

TL;DR: In this article, anomalous observations using the fast ignition for laser driven fusion energy are interpreted and experimental and theoretical results are reported which are in contrast to the very numerous effects usually observed at petawatt-picosecond laser interaction with plasmas.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nonsequential and sequential fragmentation of CO2(3+) in intense laser fields

TL;DR: The study indicated that Coulomb explosion is a promising approach for imaging geometric structures of polyatomic molecules if the fragmentation dynamics can be clearly clarified and the appropriate dissociation potential is provided for multiply charged molecular ions.
Journal ArticleDOI

Subcycle Dynamics of Coulomb Asymmetry in Strong Elliptical Laser Fields

TL;DR: The theory quantifies the roles of the ionic potential and initial transverse momentum on Coulomb asymmetry, proving that the small lobes of asymmetry are induced by direct ionization and the strong asymmetry is induced by multiple forward scattering in the Ionic potential.
