Damage Evaluation of Supercritical CO2 for Hydronibrile Nitrile(HNBR)

TL;DR: In this paper, a high-temperature high-pressure autoclave was used to test supercritical CO2 corrosion for dumbbell-shaped hydronibrile nitrile with pressure 35MPa, temperature 90°C. The change in mechanical properties and corrosion morphology had been analyzed and compared before and after corrosion test in gas and liquid phase environment.
Journal ArticleDOI

On the study of vortex-induced vibration of circular cylinders covered with different roughness

TL;DR: In this article , the authors focused on the vortex-induced vibration (VIV) responses of circular cylinders covered with different roughness heights and coverage ratios and found that the surface roughness can effectively suppress the VIV responses and narrow the lock-on region.
Journal ArticleDOI

Tailoring zeolite ERI aperture for efficient separation of CO2 from gas mixtures

TL;DR: In this paper , a series of alkali metal cations (Na+, K+, Rb+, Cs+)-exchanged ERI zeolites were used in the separation process of CO2 among the gas mixture.
Journal ArticleDOI

Amplitude Enhancement of Flow-Induced Vibration for Energy Harnessing

TL;DR: In this paper, flow-induced vibrations of bluff bodies with four different cross-sectional geometries (circle, square, triangle and semi-circle) arranged both in single and tandem (gap ratio equals to 3 and 5) configurations are investigated in a wind tunnel.
Journal ArticleDOI

Numerical and Experimental Study on Working Mechanics of Pear-Shaped Casing Swage

TL;DR: In this paper, a new three-dimensional simulation analysis of casing swage in the well and the finite element analysis (FEA) model of 7′′ API deformed casing and PCS are established based on the elastic-plastic mechanics, the finite-element theory, and application of numerical simulation analysis for the actual process of repairing deformed casings.
