Absorption coefficients of selected explosives and related compounds in the range of 0.1–2.8 THz

TL;DR: The absorption spectra of seventeen explosives and related compounds (ERCs) are investigated by using terahertz time-domain spectroscopy in the 0.1-2.8 THz region to form a database of these ERCs, of great importance for biochemical, defense and security related applications.
Journal ArticleDOI

Coherent heterodyne time-domain spectrometry covering the entire “terahertz gap”

TL;DR: In this article, the authors used gases ionized by femtosecond pulses to generate and sense broadband terahertz pulses using a coherent heterodyne technique, using a recycled optical probe beam and coherent detection, offers a high field strength and time-resolved measurement.
Journal ArticleDOI

Spectroscopic studies on the interaction between riboflavin and albumins.

TL;DR: Intrinsic fluorescence emission spectra of serum albumin in the presence of RF show that the endogenous photosensitizer acts as a quencher and the decrease of fluorescence intensity at about 350 nm is attributed to changes in the environment of the protein fluorophores caused by the ligand.
Journal ArticleDOI

Formation and Stability of Bulk Nanobubbles Generated by Ethanol–Water Exchange

TL;DR: The results show that the concentration of the bulk nanobubbles produced by this method is about five times greater than that in the degassed group, which indicates the existence of bulk gas nanobUBbles.
Journal ArticleDOI

Terahertz identification and quantification of neurotransmitter and neurotrophy mixture.

TL;DR: This paper selects three typical neurotransmitters and two typical metabolites in neurons to measure their terahertz spectra with different mixture ratios and can identify the components and proportions of each mixture, where the goodness of fit to practical situation is up to 94%.
