Journal ArticleDOI

A smoothed particle hydrodynamics approach for numerical simulation of nano-fluid flows

TL;DR: In this article, weakly compressible smoothed particle hydrodynamics (WCSPH) is used to simulate enhanced nanoparticle heat transfer for the Eckert problem, and the results show that WCSPH is appropriate method for such numerical modelling.
Journal ArticleDOI

Prediction of viscosity of biodiesel blends using various artificial model and comparison with empirical correlations

TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated the viscosity of fuel mixtures through Generalized regression neural network (GRNN), Radial Basis Neural Networks (RBFNN), Multi-Layer Perceptron Neural Network (MLPNN), and Cascade Feed-forward Neural Network(CFNN) based on various experimental data.
Journal ArticleDOI

Modeling and analysis of biomagnetic blood Carreau fluid flow through a stenosis artery with magnetic heat transfer: A transient study

TL;DR: A numerical investigation of tapered arteries that addresses the transient simulation of non-Newtonian bio-magnetic fluid dynamics (BFD) of blood through a stenosis artery in the presence of a transverse magnetic field finds that wall temperature control can keep the blood in its ideal blood temperature range.
Journal ArticleDOI

Numerical investigation of anguilliform locomotion by the SPH method

TL;DR: In this article, a simple improved smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) algorithm is presented that can handle complex geometries using updatable dummy particles, and the computational code is validated by solving the flow over a two-dimensional cylinder and comparing its drag coefficient for two different Reynolds numbers with those in the literature.
Book ChapterDOI

Framework for Electrical Impedance Tomography Forward Problem with Non-uniform Electrodes Distribution

TL;DR: In this article, a framework for electrical impedance tomography (EIT) with non-uniform electrodes distribution is proposed, taking into account prior knowledge about the object interior, in order to make it permit the investigation of electrode positions.
