Journal ArticleDOI

Oxidative stress and male infertility: current knowledge of pathophysiology and role of antioxidant therapy in disease management

TL;DR: Physiological ROS production, roles of genetic and epigenetic factors on the OS and male infertility with various mechanisms such as lipid peroxidation, DNA damage, and disorder of male hormone profile, inflammation, and varicocele are described.
Journal ArticleDOI

The novel coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19): Mechanism of action, detection and recent therapeutic strategies.

TL;DR: Comprehensive knowledge on the innate and adaptive immune responses, will make it possible to propose potent antiviral drugs with their effective therapeutic measures for the prevention of viral infection.
Journal ArticleDOI

Dysregulated expression of long noncoding RNAs in gynecologic cancers

TL;DR: The lncRNAs that show a differential expression between cancerous and normal tissues in ovarian, cervical and endometrial cancers are presented, and the associations between lnc RNAs and some of the molecular pathways involved in these cancers are highlighted.
Journal ArticleDOI

Secretory role for human uterodomes (pinopods): secretion of LIF

TL;DR: A secretory function for uterodomes is illustrated for the first time, which provides an important clue in detection of their physiological function(s) during the process of the plasma membrane transformation.
Journal ArticleDOI

Protective effect of Zingiber officinale extract on rat testis after cyclophosphamide treatment.

TL;DR: Although ginger extract could not change testis weight, malondialdehyde (MDA) and ROS, but antioxidant and testosterone levels in serum were increased significantly, these protective effects of ginger on rat testis after cyclophosphamide treatment could be attributed to the higher serum level of antioxidants.
