Journal ArticleDOI

Palladium-catalyzed regioselective aerobic oxidative C-H/N-H carbonylation of heteroarenes under base-free conditions.

TL;DR: Using air as oxidant and a balloon pressure of CO, indoles, thiophenes and benzothiophenses are converted in the presence of different alcohols into carboxylic acid esters as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI

Asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of ketones and imines with novel water-soluble chiral diamine as ligand in neat water

TL;DR: A water-soluble rhodium(III) catalyst for asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of ketones and imines in neat water with high reactivity and excellent enantioselectivity has been developed in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chemical hijacking of auxin signaling with an engineered auxin-TIR1 pair.

TL;DR: An engineered, orthogonal auxin-TIR1 receptor pair is developed through a bump-and-hole strategy, that triggers auxin signaling without interfering with endogenous auxin or TIR1/AFBs and serves as a powerful tool for solving outstanding questions in auxin biology.
Journal ArticleDOI

(E)-α,β-unsaturated amides from tertiary amines, olefins and CO via Pd/Cu-catalyzed aerobic oxidative N-dealkylation

TL;DR: A novel Pd/Cu-catalyzed chemoselective aerobic oxidative N-dealkylation/carbonylation reaction has been developed, which allows for an efficient and straightforward construction of synthetically useful and bioactive (E)-α,β-unsaturated amide derivatives from easily available tertiary amines, olefins and CO.
Journal ArticleDOI

Unprecedented 2D Homochiral Hybrid Lead-Iodide Perovskite Thermochromic Ferroelectrics with Ferroelastic Switching

TL;DR: In this article, a homochiral lead-iodide perovskite ferroelectrics was synthesized by introducing a methyl group into the organic cation of the parent (N-benzylethane-1,2-diaminium)PbI4.
