The tribological properties of Al0.6CoCrFeNi high-entropy alloy with the σ phase precipitation at elevated temperature
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of temperature on the tribological properties of Al0.6CoCrFeNi high-entropy alloy was studied and the results showed that the σ-CrFe phase was precipitated after heat treatment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Surface strengthening in Al0.25CoCrFeNi high-entropy alloy by boronizing
TL;DR: In this paper, the boronized Al0.25CoCrFeNi high-entropy alloy (HEAs) was prepared by solid-boronizing method.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rare-earth high entropy alloys with hexagonal close-packed structure
Junwei Qiao,M. L. Bao,Y. J. Zhao,Huijun Yang,Yucheng Wu,Yong Zhang,Jeffrey A. Hawk,M. C. Gao +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the formation of octonary DyErGdHoLuScTbY and senary DyGdHLuSctbY high-entropy alloys with the hexagonal close-packed (HCP) structure was reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Deformation behavior and plastic instability of boronized Al 0.25 CoCrFeNi high-entropy alloys
TL;DR: Using thermochemical treatments, boronized layers were successfully prepared on Al0.25CoCrFeNi high-entropy alloys (HEAs), and the thickness of the boride layers ranged widely from 20 to 50 µm, depending on the heat treatment time as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Influence of lanthanum on passivity behavior of CrMnFeNi high entropy alloys
TL;DR: In this paper, the passivity of high entropy alloys (HEAs) in 0.5 m H2SO4 solution was investigated by immersion test, Mott-Schottky analysis, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic (XPS).
