PM 2.5 pollution in a megacity of southwest China: source apportionment and implication

TL;DR: In this paper, the ISORROPIA II thermodynamic equilibrium model and the positive matrix factorization (PMF) model were applied to explore the likely chemical forms of ionic constituents and to apportion sources for PM2.5.
Journal ArticleDOI

Analysis of 40 years of solar radiation data from China, 1961-2000

TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated the long-term annual trends in Chinese global radiation, direct horizontal radiation, diffuse radiation, clearness index, diffuse fraction and percentage of possible sunshine duration for the period 1961-2000.
Journal ArticleDOI

Column aerosol optical properties and aerosol radiative forcing during a serious haze-fog month over North China Plain in 2013 based on ground-based sunphotometer measurements

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used Cimel sunphotometer measurements at seven sites over rural, suburban and urban regions of North China Plain from 1 to 30 January 2013 were used to further understand of spatial-temporal variation of aerosol optical parameters and aerosol radiative forcing (ARF).
Journal ArticleDOI

Instrument calibration and aerosol optical depth validation of the China Aerosol Remote Sensing Network

TL;DR: In this paper, the CE-318 sunphotometer of the China Aerosol Remote Sensing Network (CARSNET) was calibrated and validated using ASTPWin software compared with the simultaneous measurements of the AERONET/Photometrie pour le Traitement Operationnel de Normalization Satellitaire (PHOTONS) and PREDE skyradiometer.
