Videla,Eric Villard,Paola Andreani,John E. Hibbard,Ken'ichi Tatematsu +84 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) observations from the 2014 Long Baseline Campaign in dust continuum and spectral line emission from the HL Tau region were presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dust and gas in the disk of HL TAURI: surface density, dust settling, and dust-to-gas ratio
Christophe Pinte,Christophe Pinte,William R. F. Dent,Francois Menard,Francois Menard,Antonio Hales,Antonio Hales,T. Hill,P. Cortes,P. Cortes,I. de Gregorio-Monsalvo +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present a radiative transfer model accounting for the observed gaps and bright rings as well as radial changes of the emissivity index, and find that the dust density is depleted by at least a factor 10 in the main gaps compared to the surrounding rings.
Journal ArticleDOI
Kinematic Evidence for an Embedded Protoplanet in a Circumstellar Disk
Christophe Pinte,Christophe Pinte,Daniel J. Price,Francois Menard,Gaspard Duchêne,Gaspard Duchêne,William R. F. Dent,T. Hill,I. de Gregorio-Monsalvo,Antonio Hales,Antonio Hales,Daniel Mentiplay +11 more
Journal ArticleDOI
Unveiling the gas-and-dust disk structure in HD 163296 using ALMA observations
I. de Gregorio-Monsalvo,Francois Menard,Francois Menard,William R. F. Dent,Christophe Pinte,C. López,P. D. Klaassen,Antonio Hales,P. Cortes,Mark G. Rodon,Stuartt Corder,T. A. van Kempen +24 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used high-resolution and high-sensitivity ALMA observations of the CO(3-2) emission line and the continuum at 850µm, as well as the 3-dimensional radiative transfer code MCFOST to model the data presented in this work.
Journal ArticleDOI
Molecular Gas Clumps from the Destruction of Icy Bodies in the β Pictoris Debris Disk
William R. F. Dent,Mark C. Wyatt,Aki Roberge,Jean-Charles Augereau,Simon Casassus,Stuartt Corder,Jane Greaves,I. de Gregorio-Monsalvo,I. de Gregorio-Monsalvo,Antonio Hales,Alan Jackson,Alan Jackson,A. Meredith Hughes,Anne-Marie Lagrange,Blake Matthews,Blake Matthews,D. Wilner +16 more
TL;DR: A highly asymmetric disk of dust and carbon monoxide orbiting the planet-hosting star, β Pictoris, delineates a region of enhanced collisions, either from a mean motion resonance with an unseen giant planet or from the remnants of a collision of Mars-mass planets.
