Bone marrow changes in anorexia nervosa are correlated with the amount of weight loss and not with other clinical findings.

TL;DR: Bone marrow aspirates and biopsy specimens were analyzed by standard morphologic procedures, and bone marrow adipocytes were studied morphometrically, and Hypoplastic or aplastic bone marrow showed an increase in bone marrow fat fraction due to an increase to adipocyte diameters, while in GDBM, fat fraction and adipocyte diameter decreased.
Journal ArticleDOI

Splenic marginal zone B-cell lymphomas: two cytogenetic subtypes, one with gain of 3q and the other with loss of 7q.

TL;DR: The findings support the interpretation that two forms of SMZBCL could be considered, one with gain of 3q and the other with deletions at 7q, and help clarify the etiology of splenic marginal zone B-cell lymphoma.
Journal ArticleDOI
