HAZMAT VI: The Evolution of Extreme Ultraviolet Radiation Emitted from Early M Star

TL;DR: In this paper, the evolution of stellar extreme ultraviolet (EUV, 100 -- 1000 -overset{circ{A}$) emission from early M stars was studied. But the authors were unable to determine the trend for EUV flux as a function of age, because absorption by the interstellar medium prevents access to the EUV wavelengths for the vast majority of stars.
Journal ArticleDOI

A pair of Sub-Neptunes transiting the bright K-dwarf TOI-1064 characterised with CHEOPS

Thomas G. Wilson, +134 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors report the discovery and characterisation of a pair of sub-Neptunes transiting the bright K-dwarf TOI-1064 (TIC 79748331), initially detected in TESS photometry.
Journal ArticleDOI

HAZMAT. IV. Flares and Superflares on Young M Stars in the Far Ultraviolet

TL;DR: The most energetic superflare, dubbed the "Hazflare," was observed by the HST's COS or STIS spectrographs with an estimated bolometric energy of $10.32.6 −0.2 −1.1−1.5 as mentioned in this paper, 30 times more energetic than any stellar flare previously observed in the FUV.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

PLATO: detailed design of the telescope optical units

TL;DR: In this article, the detailed design of the Telescope Optical Units (TOUs) is described focusing on the selected optical configuration and the expected performances. And the payload consists of 34 all refractive telescopes having small aperture (120672mm) and wide field of view (greater than 1000 degree).
