Journal ArticleDOI
Comparative assessment of methods for estimating tumor volume and standardized uptake value in (18)F-FDG PET.
P. Tylski,Simon Stute,Nicolas Grotus,Kaya Doyeux,Sébastien Hapdey,Isabelle Gardin,Bruno Vanderlinden,Irène Buvat +7 more
TL;DR: The method used to estimate tumor volume and SUV greatly affects the reliability of the estimates, and the Tbgd and Fit methods yielded low errors in volume estimates in a broad range of situations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Simultaneous positron emission tomography (PET) assessment of metabolism with 18F-fluoro-2-deoxy-d-glucose (FDG), proliferation with 18F-fluoro-thymidine (FLT), and hypoxia with 18fluoro-misonidazole (F-miso) before and during radiotherapy in patients with non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC): A pilot study
Pierre Vera,Pierre Bohn,Agathe Edet-Sanson,Alice Salles,Sébastien Hapdey,Isabelle Gardin,Jean François Menard,Romain Modzelewski,Luc Thiberville,Bernard Dubray +9 more
TL;DR: The results at 46 Gy suggest that a fast decrease in the proliferation of both tumours and nodes exists during radiotherapy with differences in metabolism (borderline significant decrease) and hypoxia (stable).
Journal ArticleDOI
Development of a generic thresholding algorithm for the delineation of 18FDG-PET-positive tissue: application to the comparison of three thresholding models.
S. Vauclin,S. Vauclin,K. Doyeux,K. Doyeux,Sébastien Hapdey,Agathe Edet-Sanson,Pierre Vera,Isabelle Gardin +7 more
TL;DR: The results show the importance of developing a generic algorithm to compare the performances of fitting models objectively and to validate results on other phantoms than the ones used during the calibration process to avoid methodological biases.
Journal Article
Use of subtraction ictal SPECT co-registered to MRI for optimizing the localization of seizure foci in children.
Pierre Vera,Anna Kaminska,C. Cieuta,Andreas Hollo,J.L. Stievenart,Isabelle Gardin,Dorothé Ville,Jean-François Mangin,Perrine Plouin,Olivier Dulac,Catherine Chiron +10 more
TL;DR: The co-registration of ictal-interictal subtraction SPECT images to MRI seems to be a helpful technique in localizing the onset of seizure and guiding the intracranial recording in childhood epilepsy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Clinical Feasibility of Fast 3-Dimensional Dosimetry of the Liver for Treatment Planning of Hepatocellular Carcinoma with 90Y-Microspheres
Arnaud Dieudonné,Etienne Garin,Sophie Laffont,Yan Rolland,Rachida Lebtahi,Dominique Leguludec,Isabelle Gardin +6 more
TL;DR: The feasibility of a fast 3D dosimetry method for 90Y-microspheres treatment planning is demonstrated and the potential value of a 3D treatment planning strategy is highlighted.
