TL;DR: In this article, the authors measured ACE2 concentrations in 1485 men and 537 women with heart failure (index cohort) and found that the strongest predictor of elevated concentrations of ACE2 in both cohorts was male sex.

TL;DR: Changes in neutrophil transcriptome suggest a combination of early activation of circulating neutrophils by TNFα and G-CSF and a mobilization of young neutrophilia from the bone marrow, which reflects extended survival and regulation of inflammatory responses.
