Obesity markers for the prediction of incident type 2 diabetes mellitus in resource-poor settings: The CRONICAS Cohort Study.

TL;DR: It was found that obesity markers had a poor predictive performance (AUC) for the incidence of T2DM when used alone, and the BMI, WC, waist circumference, waist-hip ratio and WHtR had better performance for the probability of type 2 diabetes mellitus T2 DM relative to the WHR among women.

TL;DR: In this paper, a cross-sectional analysis of the Demographic and Health Survey (2009 to 2016) was conducted to assess the relationship between urbanization and the double burden of malnutrition (DBM) in Peru.
