Journal ArticleDOI

Optimal conditions for the preparation of Fab and F(ab')2 fragments from monoclonal IgG of different rat IgG subclasses.

TL;DR: The optimal conditions for the preparation of Fab and F(ab')2 fragments from monoclonal rat IgG of different subclasses are described and Fab fragments are isolated by sequential chromatography on Ultrogel AcA 44 and on DEAE-cellulose columns.
Journal ArticleDOI

Y-autosome translocation and infertility: usefulness of molecular, cytogenetic and meiotic studies.

TL;DR: The morphological appearance of the normal chromosome 6 and the Y;6 translocated chromosome included in the compartment of the sex vesicle may allow an explanation of the degeneration of most spermatocytes after the pachytene stage.
Journal ArticleDOI

Actin-Binding Properties and Colocalization with Actin During Spermiogenesis of Mammalian Sperm Calicin

TL;DR: The results suggest that the affinity of Calicin to F-actin allows targeting of calicin at the subacrosomal space of round spermatids, and that its ability to form homomultimers contributes to the formation of a rigid calyx.
Journal ArticleDOI

Rat IgG subclasses: Differences in affinity to protein A-Sepharose

TL;DR: The elution pattern of IgG subclasses from normal rat serum was found to be in agreement with the results obtained from monoclonal IgG, with differences in affinity found in part to be related to the subclass with the order.
Journal ArticleDOI

The differential enzyme sensitivity of rat immunoglobulin G subclasses to papain and pepsin

TL;DR: Monoclonal IgG belonging to the different rat IgG subclasses and IgG2a from normal rat serum were subjected to enzymatic degradation with papain and pepsin and the effects of the increase of pepin concentration and of the addition of cysteine were found to be different according to the IgG subclass.
