Quantum oscillation studies of the Fermi surface of LaFePO

TL;DR: In this paper, the Fermi surface of the iron-pnictide superconductor LaFePO using quantum oscillation techniques has been studied and it has been shown that the topology is close to that predicted by first principles density functional theory calculations, consisting of quasi-two-dimensional electron-like and hole-like sheets.
Journal ArticleDOI

Shubnikov-de Haas effect in the metallic state of Na0.3CoO2.

TL;DR: Shubnikov-de Haas oscillations for two well-defined frequencies, corresponding, respectively, to areas of 0.8 and 1.36% of the first Brillouin zone, were observed in single crystals of Na(0.3)CoO2, suggesting the possibility that the periods are due to the reconstruction of the large Fermi surface around the Gamma point.

STM imaging of electronic waves on the surface of Bi$_2$Te$_3$

TL;DR: In this article, the local density of states (LDOS) of Bi$_2$Te$_3$ crystals was analyzed and the main part of the surface band oscillations were strongly damped.
