Quantum oscillation studies of the Fermi surface of LaFePO
Antony Carrington,Amalia I. Coldea,J. D. Fletcher,Nigel E. Hussey,C. M. J. Andrew,A. F. Bangura,James Analytis,Jiun-Haw Chu,A. S. Erickson,Ian R. Fisher,Ross D. McDonald +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the Fermi surface of the iron-pnictide superconductor LaFePO using quantum oscillation techniques has been studied and it has been shown that the topology is close to that predicted by first principles density functional theory calculations, consisting of quasi-two-dimensional electron-like and hole-like sheets.
Journal ArticleDOI
Shubnikov-de Haas effect in the metallic state of Na0.3CoO2.
Luis Balicas,James Analytis,James Analytis,Younjung Jo,K. Storr,K. Storr,Henny W. Zandbergen,Yan Xin,Nigel E. Hussey,Fangcheng Chou,Patrick A. Lee +10 more
TL;DR: Shubnikov-de Haas oscillations for two well-defined frequencies, corresponding, respectively, to areas of 0.8 and 1.36% of the first Brillouin zone, were observed in single crystals of Na(0.3)CoO2, suggesting the possibility that the periods are due to the reconstruction of the large Fermi surface around the Gamma point.
Journal ArticleDOI
Shubnikov-de Haas quantum oscillations reveal a reconstructed Fermi surface near optimal doping in a thin film of the cuprate superconductor Pr 1.86 Ce 0.14 CuO 4 ± δ
Nicholas Breznay,Nicholas Breznay,Ian Hayes,Ian Hayes,Brad Ramshaw,Ross D. McDonald,Yoshiharu Krockenberger,Ai Ikeda,Hiroshi Irie,Hideki Yamamoto,James Analytis,James Analytis +11 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the magnetotransport properties of the electron-doped superconductor were studied in magnetic fields up to 92 T and the Shubnikov-de Haas magnetic quantum oscillations were observed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pressure dependence of the BaFe 2 As 2 Fermi surface within the spin density wave state
David Graf,Ryan L. Stillwell,Tim Murphy,J.-H. Park,Eric Palm,Pedro Schlottmann,Ross D. McDonald,James Analytis,James Analytis,Ian R. Fisher,Ian R. Fisher,Stanley W. Tozer +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, the evolution of Shubnikov de Haas oscillations under quasihydrostatic pressure for the pnictide parent compound BaFe${}_{2}$As${}{2}$.

STM imaging of electronic waves on the surface of Bi$_2$Te$_3$
Zhanybek Alpichshev,James Analytis,Jiun-Haw Chu,Ian R. Fisher,Yulin Chen,Zhi-Xun Shen,Alan Fang,Aharon Kapitulnik +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the local density of states (LDOS) of Bi$_2$Te$_3$ crystals was analyzed and the main part of the surface band oscillations were strongly damped.
