TL;DR: To confirm their initial comment, indeed, the ascending aortic flow displacement parameter was not normalized to the individual vessel diameter, and it is agreed with Hope et al that flow displacement should ideally be normalized by the lumen diameter to account for interindividual differences in aorti geometry.

TL;DR: 4D flow MRI is a promising tool for TBAD evaluation that can provide information beyond traditional MRA or CTA and has the potential to become an integral aspect of TBAD work-up, as hemodynamic assessment may allow earlier identification of at-risk patients who could benefit from earlier intervention.
