Identification of an Immature Subset of PMN-MDSC Correlated to Response to Checkpoint Inhibitor Therapy in Patients with Metastatic Melanoma.
Françoise Gondois-Rey,Magali Paul,Florence Alcaraz,Sarah Bourass,Jilliana Monnier,N. Malissen,Jean-Jacques Grob,Annika M. Bruger,Pierre van der Bruggen,Caroline Gaudy-Marqueste,Daniel Olive +10 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the phenotypic and functional subsets of PMN-MDSCs to identify biomarkers of response to ICI therapy in patients with metastatic melanoma.
Photodynamic Therapy Using Topical Methyl Aminolevulinate vs Surgery for Nodular Basal Cell Carcinoma
Lesley E. Rhodes,Menno de Rie,Richard Groves,T Morken,V Goulden,Gavin A. E. Wong,Jean-Jacques Grob,Sandeep Varma,Peter Wolf +8 more
TL;DR: Photodynamic therapy (PDT) offer headvantages oversurgery of beinganon-invasive procedure causingminimaldam-agetosurrounding tissue destruction, because ofrela-tively selective uptake of photosensitizer by malignant cells.
Journal ArticleDOI
Skin necrosis after injection of aminosides. Arthus reaction, local toxicity, thrombotic process or pathergy?
TL;DR: A case of extensive skin necrosis following intramuscular injections of sisomycin is described, and subjects with a tendency to thrombosis and/or abnormalities of neutrophil functions may be predisposed to these skin necroses.
Journal ArticleDOI
Slow Dynamics of Lymphoscintigraphic Mapping Is Associated to the Negativity of the Sentinel Node in Melanoma Patients
Laurence Mahieu-Renard,Serge Cammilleri,Roch Giorgi,Caroline Gaudy-Marqueste,Olivier Mundler,Marie-Aleth Richard,Jean-Jacques Grob +6 more
TL;DR: Slow SAT is associated with SN− and better survival, which opens interesting hypotheses as to the process of the first nodal metastasis, however, the best possible lymphoscintigraphic marker was not consistent enough to recognize patients in whom the invasive phase of SN biopsy could be avoided.
Journal ArticleDOI
Patient Experiences with Avelumab in Treatment-Naïve Metastatic Merkel Cell Carcinoma: Longitudinal Qualitative Interview Findings from JAVELIN Merkel 200, a Registrational Clinical Trial
Jérémy Lambert,Alexia Marrel,Sandra P. D’Angelo,Melissa A. Burgess,Bartosz Chmielowski,Nicola Fazio,Thilo Gambichler,Jean-Jacques Grob,Céleste Lebbé,Caroline Robert,Jeffrey Russell,Gülseren Güzel,Murtuza Bharmal +12 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that patients experience perceptible benefits in physical and psychological well-being following treatment success with first-line avelumab in metastatic Merkel cell carcinoma.
