Brain MRI Findings in Severe COVID-19: A Retrospective Observational Study.

Fixed-Distance Model for Balloon Placement During Fluoroscopy-Free Resuscitative Endovascular Balloon Occlusion of the Aorta in a Civilian Population.

TL;DR: Target distances for blind placement of REBOA exist with more than 94% prevalence in a civilian population, and these findings support the expanded use ofREBOA in emergency department and prehospital settings.
Journal ArticleDOI

Prehospital parameters can help to predict coagulopathy and massive transfusion in trauma patients

TL;DR: This study aimed to evaluate the accuracy of prehospital parameters, including vital signs and resuscitation (fluids, vasopressor), to predict trauma‐induced coagulopathy, and a massive transfusion (MT, ≥10 RBC units within the first 24 h).
Journal ArticleDOI

A new site for venous access: superficial veins of portal collateral circulation.

TL;DR: This work reports a new site of vascular access necessitating no specific material and is the first human report of insertion of a catheter in a superficial vein of abdominal wall, which could be an alternative approach for vascular access after failure of peripheral venipuncture in patients with portal hypertension.
