TL;DR: This study aimed to evaluate the accuracy of prehospital parameters, including vital signs and resuscitation (fluids, vasopressor), to predict trauma‐induced coagulopathy, and a massive transfusion (MT, ≥10 RBC units within the first 24 h).
Journal ArticleDOI
A new site for venous access: superficial veins of portal collateral circulation.
TL;DR: This work reports a new site of vascular access necessitating no specific material and is the first human report of insertion of a catheter in a superficial vein of abdominal wall, which could be an alternative approach for vascular access after failure of peripheral venipuncture in patients with portal hypertension.
