Cardiac rupture in acute myocardial infarction with ST segment elevation. Clinical course and prognosis.

TL;DR: Mortality due to CR was increased in patients who were treated conservatively, who received thrombolysis and those who were females, and rapid and accurate diagnosis, proper correction of hemodynamical disturbances and timely introduction of cardiac surgery improve prognosis in patients with CR complicating STEMI.
