TL;DR: In this cohort, 41% of the underground workers were first exposed to radon when < 15 y old; however, lung cancer risk did not vary consistently with age at first radon exposure, and the relationship was consistent with an intermediate association.

TL;DR: Results suggest that, in this area of China, tobacco use is an important cause of lung cancer, and that smoking cigarettes may be more deleterious than smoking pipes (primarily water pipes).
