Journal ArticleDOI

Facile TMSOTf-catalyzed preparation of 2-deoxy α-O-aryl-D-glycosides from glycosyl acetates.

TL;DR: 2-Deoxy α-O-aryl glycosides were conveniently obtained by reaction of 2-deoxy-glycosyl acetates with phenols in the presence of TMSOTf as the promoter, providing good to excellent yields, and sole alpha selectivity.
Journal ArticleDOI

A highly efficient deprotection of the 2,2,2-trichloroethyl group at the anomeric oxygen of carbohydrates

TL;DR: Zinc dust in the presence of ammonium chloride in acetonitrile at reflux removes the 2,2,2-trichloroethyl (TCE) group at anomeric centers with excellent yields with excellent reaction times in short reaction times.
Journal ArticleDOI

One-pot synthesis of β-2,6-dideoxyglycosides via glycosyl iodide intermediates

TL;DR: An efficient and convenient approach for stereoselective synthesis of β-linked 2,6-dideoxyglycosides and oligosaccharides has been developed through one-pot glycosylation strategy using Glycosyl iodide intermediates.
Journal ArticleDOI

Substoichiometric FeCl3 Activation of Propargyl Glycosides for the Synthesis of Disaccharides and Glycoconjugates

TL;DR: Under optimal reaction conditions, three kinds of propargyl glycosides were found to react with steroids and sugar-derived glycosyl acceptors to afford the corresponding disaccharides and glycoconjugates in good to excellent yields.
