Journal ArticleDOI

LncRNA MIAT: Myocardial infarction associated and more

TL;DR: The growing understanding and potential utilization of MIAT is reviewed, which is involved in various diseases, pathological and physiological processes, such as myocardial infarction, diabetic retinopathy, paranoid schizophrenia, microvascular dysfunction and formation of nuclear bodies, and neurogenic commitment.
Journal ArticleDOI

Modern researches on Blood Stasis syndrome 1989-2015: A bibliometric analysis.

TL;DR: The number of publications on BSS-related studies increased rapidly in recent years, so did the quality of them, but there are limitations to them which require improvement in research productivity and academic influence.
Journal ArticleDOI

LncRNA H19 inhibits ER stress induced apoptosis and improves diabetic cardiomyopathy by regulating PI3K/AKT/mTOR axis

TL;DR: H19 attenuates DCM in DM and ROS, ERS-induced cardiomyocyte apoptosis, which is associated with the activation of PI3K/AKT/mTOR signaling pathway, and might be rescued by LY294002 (the specific inhibitor for PI3k and AKT).
Journal ArticleDOI

Metformin modulates the gut microbiome in a mice model of high-fat diet-induced glycolipid metabolism disorder

TL;DR: In this article , the authors used metagenomic shotgun sequencing and gas chromatography-time of flight-mass spectrometry analysis to characterize the microbiota system of 24 male C57BL/6 J mice and found that MET-induced restoration of intestinal homeostasis correlates with amelioration of host glucolipid metabolism.
Journal ArticleDOI

An unusual contrast-induced encephalopathy following percutaneous coronary intervention in patients with cerebrovascular abnormalities: A case report

TL;DR: In this article , a 66-year-old female suffered from a delayed CIE following the administration of iodinated contrast agent, which usually happens minutes to hours after contact with contrast, and fully recovers within 72 h.
