Satellite UV-Vis spectroscopy: implications for air quality trends and their driving forces in China during 2005–2017
Chengxin Zhang,Cheng Liu,Qihou Hu,Zhaonan Cai,Wenjing Su,Congzi Xia,Yizhi Zhu,Siwen Wang,Jianguo Liu +8 more
TL;DR: Zhang et al. as discussed by the authors analyzed the spatial distribution and temporal trends of satellite-observed air pollutants over eastern China during 2005-2017, especially in heavily polluted regions, and found significant decreasing trends in NO2 and SO2 since 2011 over most regions, despite varying temporal features and turning points.
Journal ArticleDOI
A kinetic model for heterogeneous condensation of vapor on an insoluble spherical particle
TL;DR: It is found that the cluster growth via surface diffusion of adsorbed water molecules on the particle is more important than the direct addition from the vapor, and the growth rate of droplet in heterogeneous condensation is larger than that in homogeneouscondensation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Calibration-free wavelength modulation spectroscopy for gas concentration measurements using a quantum cascade laser
Min Wei,Min Wei,Ruifeng Kan,Bing Chen,Zhenyu Xu,Chenguang Yang,Xiang Chen,Xiang Chen,Huihui Xia,Huihui Xia,Mai Hu,Yabai He,Jianguo Liu,Xueli Fan,Wei Wang +14 more
TL;DR: In this article, an accurate calibration-free wavelength-scanned wavelength modulation spectroscopy system based on the temporal wavelength response of a current-modulated quantum cascade laser (QCL) for gas concentration detections was developed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development of a field system for measurement of tropospheric OH radical using laser-induced fluorescence technique
Fengyang Wang,Renzhi Hu,Hao Chen,Pinhua Xie,Yihui Wang,Zhiyan Li,Jin Huawei,Jianguo Liu,Wenqing Liu +8 more
TL;DR: The deployment of AIOFM-LIF system in STORM campaign has demonstrated its capability of measuring tropospheric OH radical with high sensitivity and accuracy in a polluted environment.
Journal ArticleDOI
Determination of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons by four-way parallel factor analysis in presence of humic acid
TL;DR: The results demonstrate that the combination of four- way dataset with four-way parallel factor analysis could be a promising method to recognize the fluorescence spectra of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons in the presence of fluorescent quencher from both qualitative and quantitative perspective.
