Journal ArticleDOI

Targeting Akt in cancer for precision therapy.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors highlight the recent progress of Akt signaling pathway, review the up-to-date data from clinical studies, and discuss the potential biomarkers that may help personalized treatment of cancer with Akt inhibitors, and also discuss how Akt may confer the vulnerability of cancer cells to some kinds of anticancer agents.
Journal ArticleDOI

The role of network‐forming collagens in cancer progression

TL;DR: The regulation of network‐forming collagens expression in cancer; the roles of network-formingcollagens in tumor invasion, metastasis and angiogenesis; and the clinical significance of network•forming collagen expression incancer patients are reviewed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Gamma synuclein promotes cancer metastasis through the MKK3/6-p38MAPK cascade

TL;DR: It is shown that SNCG promotes transforming growth factor-β (TGF-β)-induced p38 mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) phosphorylation, and the critical role of p38MAPK in the promotion of cancer metastasis by SNCg is highlighted, and it is indicated that p38 MAPK inhibitor may serve as a potential therapeutic for S NCG-overexpressed cancer.
Journal ArticleDOI

Lotic Environment Affects Morphological Characteristics and Energy Metabolism of Juvenile Grass Carp Ctenopharyngodon idella

TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the effect of a lotic environment on morphological characteristics and energy metabolism in juvenile grass carp Ctenopharyngodon idella, and found that the increased water flow environment significantly increased body weight, body length, and condition factor of grass carp.
Journal ArticleDOI

Anthocyanins distribution, transcriptional regulation, epigenetic and post-translational modification in fruits.

TL;DR: In this article , the authors systematically summarize anthocyanin functions, classifications, distributions, biosynthesis, decoration, transportation, transcriptional regulation, DNA methylation, and post-translational regulation in fruits.
