Liping Zhao,Liping Zhao,Feng Zhang,Xiaoying Ding,Guojun Wu,Yan Y. Lam,Xuejiao Wang,Huaqing Fu,Xinhe Xue,Chunhua Lu,Jilin Ma,Lihua Yu,Chengmei Xu,Zhongying Ren,Ying Xu,Songmei Xu,Hongli Shen,Xiuli Zhu,Yu Shi,Qingyun Shen,Weiping Dong,Rui Liu,Yunxia Ling,Yue Zeng,Xing-peng Wang,Qianpeng Zhang,Jing Wang,Linghua Wang,Yanqiu Wu,Benhua Zeng,Hong Wei,Menghui Zhang,Yongde Peng,Chenhong Zhang +33 more
TL;DR: It is found that adopting a high-fiber diet promoted the growth of SCFA-producing organisms in diabetic humans and had better improvement in hemoglobin A1c levels, partly via increased glucagon-like peptide-1 production.

Greenberg,Qianfang Huang,Qian Ren,Haiyan Sun,Mingyu Gu,Li Zhao,Yunhong Huang,Yijie Wu,Chunxian Qian,Yongde Peng +30 more
TL;DR: Investigation of the prevalence of hypertension in different glycemic statuses and relationships between NAFLD, metabolic risks, and hypertension within a large community-based population suggested that the patients with prediabetes or T2DM were with higher risks to have hypertension.
Journal ArticleDOI
Neuropilin-1 Identifies a New Subpopulation of TGF-β-Induced Foxp3+ Regulatory T Cells With Potent Suppressive Function and Enhanced Stability During Inflammation
Weiqin Chen,Weishan Huang,Youqiu Xue,Ye Chen,Wenbin Qian,Jilin Ma,Avery August,Julie Wang,Song Guo Zheng,Jin Lin +9 more
TL;DR: This study found that Nrp-1 was expressed by a subset of Foxp3+CD4+T cells in the central and peripheral lymphoid organs in intact mice, as well as in iTreg, implicating a potential for Nr-1+iTreg cell therapy for autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.
