Cyanometallate-Bridged Didysprosium Single-Molecule Magnets Constructed with Single-Ion Magnet Building Block
Yang Liu,Yan-Cong Chen,Jiang Liu,Wen-Bin Chen,Guo-Zhang Huang,Si-Guo Wu,Jin Wang,Jun-Liang Liu,Ming-Liang Tong +8 more
TL;DR: The building block approach for the synthesis of a family of dilanthanide single-molecule magnets bridged with a cyanometallate starting from a monolanthanide SMM is shown.
Journal ArticleDOI
Opening Magnetic Hysteresis by Axial Ferromagnetic Coupling: From Mono-Decker to Double-Decker Metallacrown
Jin Wang,Quan-Wen Li,Si-Guo Wu,Yan-Cong Chen,Rui-Chen Wan,Guo-Zhang Huang,Yang Liu,Jun-Liang Liu,Daniel Reta,Marcus J. Giansiracusa,Zhenxing Wang,Nicholas F. Chilton,Ming-Liang Tong +12 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the axial ferromagnetic Dy-Dy coupling suppresses fast quantum tunnelling of magnetization (QTM) and holds the largest effective energy barriers for any reported d-f SMMs up to 625 cm-1.
Journal ArticleDOI
Field-induced oscillation of magnetization blocking barrier in a holmium metallacrown single-molecule magnet
Si-Guo Wu,Ze-Yu Ruan,Guo-Zhang Huang,Jie-Yu Zheng,Veacheslav Vieru,Veacheslav Vieru,Gheorghe Taran,Jin Wang,Yan-Cong Chen,Jun-Liang Liu,Le Tuan Anh Ho,Le Tuan Anh Ho,Liviu F. Chibotaru,Wolfgang Wernsdorfer,Wolfgang Wernsdorfer,Xiao-Ming Chen,Ming-Liang Tong +16 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a field-dependent oscillation of the magnetization blocking barrier in a holmium metallacrown magnet driven by the switch of relaxation mechanisms involving hyperfine interaction was observed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Highly Ag+ Selective Tripodal Gold(I) Acetylide-based “Off–On” Luminescence Chemosensors based on 3(ππ*) Emission Switching
TL;DR: Newly prepared gold(I) acetylide-based luminescent cation sensors 1c and 1d, which bear a novel three-armed flexible conformation, together with control molecule 2c, were synthesized in four steps.
Journal ArticleDOI
Building Block and Directional Bonding Approaches for the Synthesis of {DyMn4}n (n = 2, 3) Metallacrown Assemblies
TL;DR: In this article, four 3d-4f heterometallic complexes based on salicylhydroxamic acid (H3sha) have been synthesized and single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis reveals that all complexes are comprised of {Dy[12-MCsha,Mn(III)-4]}n (n = 2 or 3, MC = metallacrown) supramolecular architectures, where the MC building blocks are further ligated by the ditopic subunit ligands with different lengths and bite angles.
