The correlation between electron density and anchoring strength in the inorganic vertical alignment layer

TL;DR: In this paper, the relationship between the liquid crystal alignment and the density of the silicon oxide alignment layer was studied by theoretical and experimental approaches, and it was found that the alignment of liquid crystal was highly dependent on their densities, which was closely related to the number of interacting dipoles.
Journal ArticleDOI

Energy Barrier Reduction and Exciton Confinement Using an Intermediate Blocking Layer in Organic Light-Emitting Diodes

TL;DR: In this paper, an intermediate blocking layer (IBL) was investigated for the development of highly efficient and bright organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) for high voltage applications.
Journal ArticleDOI

Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation for pain during propofol injection: a randomized clinical trial

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigated whether transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS) could reduce pain during propofol injection compared to sham TENS, and they found that TENS significantly reduced the incidence and intensity of pain during the injection.
Journal ArticleDOI

Observation of the hollow cathode effect from a dielectric cathode

TL;DR: In this article, the hollow cathode effect (HCE) is investigated in the dielectric hollow cathodes structure in a Ne?Xe mixture at 4% by the relationship between voltage and current peaks, and the linearity of reduced current density confirms the existence of the HCE and shows that cathode fall has the same value at every pD condition.

Thin film transistor and thin film transistor array and electronic device

TL;DR: In this paper, a thin-film transistor array with a gate and an active layer including a semiconductor material and a first elastomer is described, and a gate insulator between the gate and the active layer is introduced.
