Design of new anode materials based on hierarchical, three dimensional ordered macro-mesoporous TiO2 for high performance lithium ion batteries

TL;DR: In this paper, two 3D ordered macroporous TiO2, one with disordered interparticle mesopores formed by the aggregation of nanoparticles (3DOM) and another with inner-particle meshesopores generated by a surfactant templating strategy (3 DOMM), have been synthesized using poly(styrene-methyl methacrylate-3-sulfopropyl methACrylate potassium) (P(St-MMA-SPMAP)) spheres as a hard template and their electrochemical properties are compared.
Journal ArticleDOI

Blue-edge slow photons promoting visible-light hydrogen production on gradient ternary 3DOM TiO2-Au-CdS photonic crystals

TL;DR: In this paper, a gradient ternary TiO2-Au-CdS photonic crystal based on three-dimensional ordered macroporous (3DOM) TiO 2 as skeleton, Au as electron transfer medium and CdS as active material was designed for photocatalytic H2 production under visible light.
Journal ArticleDOI

Hierarchical mesoporous urchin-like Mn3O4/carbon microspheres with highly enhanced lithium battery performance by in-situ carbonization of new lamellar manganese alkoxide (Mn-DEG)

TL;DR: In this article, two types of hierarchical mesoporous urchin-like Mn 3 O 4 /carbon microspheres (HM-MO/C-MS) have been prepared via the in situ carbonization of the newly synthesized lamellar manganese alkoxide (Mn-DEG) along with the crystallization of Mn 3O 4 in air (MO-A) and nitrogen (N), respectively.
Journal ArticleDOI

2D ZnO mesoporous single-crystal nanosheets with exposed {0001} polar facets for the depollution of cationic dye molecules by highly selective adsorption and photocatalytic decomposition

TL;DR: In this paper, a 2D ZnO mesoporous single-crystal nanosheets (ZnO-MSN) with {0001} polar facets have been designed and prepared via an intriguing colloidal templating approach through controlling the infiltration speed for the suspension of EG-capped znO nanoparticles and polymer colloids.
Journal ArticleDOI

High photocatalytic activity enhancement of titania inverse opal films by slow photon effect induced strong light absorption

TL;DR: In this article, the photonic effect on the photocatalytic activity of the continuous titania inverse opal (TiO2-IO) films differing only by the air sphere size (185 and 165 nm) and prepared by a colloid crystal template approach and annealing at different temperatures (700 and 800 °C).
