Stabilizing Pt Nanocrystals Encapsulated in N-Doped Carbon as Double-Active Sites for Catalyzing Oxygen Reduction Reaction

TL;DR: The significantly improved electrochemical properties of the as-prepared catalyst are resulted from the nitrogen-doped carbon-encapsulated Pt nanocrystal structure, which is benefited to adsorption and activation of oxygen due to the presence of nitrogen- doped carbon as the important active site for ORR besides Pt metal.
Journal ArticleDOI

Nacre-biomimetic graphene oxide paper intercalated by phytic acid and its ultrafast fire-alarm application.

TL;DR: Phosphorus atoms are in situ doped into graphene layers during fire exposure, endowing GO-PTA paper with outstanding thermal oxidative stability, and thus alarm duration time of GO is greatly improved.
Journal ArticleDOI

Recent advances in non-metal doped titania for solar-driven photocatalytic/photoelectrochemical water-splitting

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors present the most recent advances on non-metal doped TiO2 photocatalysts in terms of fundamental aspects, origin of visible light activity and the photocatalytic and photoelectrochemical (PEC) behaviors for water splitting.
Journal ArticleDOI

Inhibition of diammonium phosphate on the wheat dust explosion

TL;DR: In this paper, a vertical pipeline was built to study the explosion of wheat dust with different particle size distribution under the addition of (NH4)2HPO4, and the characteristics of the wheat dust explosion were recorded by high-speed photography, ion probe and micro-thermocouple.
