Journal ArticleDOI
T-DNA insertional mutagenesis for functional genomics in rice.
Jong-Seong Jeon,Sichul Lee,Ki-Hong Jung,Sung-Hoon Jun,Dong-Hoon Jeong,Jinwon Lee,Chanhong Kim,Seonghoe Jang,Shinyoung Lee,Kiyoung Yang,Jongmin Nam,Kyungsook An,Min-Jung Han,Ryo-Jin Sung,Hyun-Sook Choi,Jung-Hwa Yu,Jung-Hwan Choi,Se-Yu Cho,Sang-Su Cha,Shi-In Kim,Gynheung An +20 more
TL;DR: The large population of T-DNA-tagged lines will be useful for identifying insertional mutants in various genes and for discovering new genes in rice.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effects of various pretreatments for enhanced anaerobic digestion with waste activated sludge.
Jeongsik Kim,Chulhwan Park,Chulhwan Park,Tak Hyun Kim,Myunggu Lee,Myunggu Lee,Sangyong Kim,Seung Wook Kim,Jinwon Lee +8 more
TL;DR: It is recognized that higher digestion efficiencies of the WAS were obtained through thermochemical pretreatment of the sludge, which gave the best results.
Journal ArticleDOI
Production of cellulases and hemicellulases by Aspergillus niger KK2 from lignocellulosic biomass
TL;DR: The higher enzyme activities produced by A. niger KK2 is a significant advantage from the viewpoint of practical saccharification reaction and might be applied to pulp and paper industry, feed industry and chemical industry.
Journal ArticleDOI
Large anomalous Hall current induced by topological nodal lines in a ferromagnetic van der Waals semimetal.
Kyoo Kim,Junho Seo,Eunwoo Lee,Kyung-Tae Ko,Byung-Ho Kim,Bo Gyu Jang,Jong Mok Ok,Jinwon Lee,Younjung Jo,Woun Kang,Ji Hoon Shim,Changyoung Kim,Han Woong Yeom,Byung Il Min,Bohm-Jung Yang,Jun Sung Kim +15 more
TL;DR: A combined experimental and theoretical approach identifies the van der Waals material Fe3GeTe2 as a candidate ferromagnetic nodal line semimetal and extends the connections between topology and magnetism.
Journal ArticleDOI
Metabolic Engineering of Escherichia coli for Enhanced Production of Succinic Acid, Based on Genome Comparison and In Silico Gene Knockout Simulation
TL;DR: Reducing the metabolic flux to pyruvate is crucial to achieve efficient succinic acid production in E. coli, and results suggest that the comparative genome analysis combined with in silico metabolic analysis can be an efficient way of developing strategies for strain improvement.
