A Systematic Study of the Photophysical Processes in Polydentate Triphenylene-Functionalized Eu3+, Tb3+, Nd3+, Yb3+, and Er3+ Complexes

TL;DR: In this paper, the lifetime of terphenyl-based lanthanide complexes with a triphenylene antenna chromophore (Ln) has been investigated and the processes preceding the luminescence in the sensitization process have been studied in detail.
Journal ArticleDOI

Electroluminescent device with reversible switching between red and green emission

TL;DR: A simple electroluminescent device, based on a semiconducting polymer combined with a phosphorescent complex, that shows fully reversible voltage-dependent switching between green and red light emission.
Journal ArticleDOI

Blue emitting iridium complexes: synthesis, photophysics and phosphorescent devices

TL;DR: In this paper, the spectral properties of homoleptic iridium complexes have been investigated in solution and in the solid state and electroluminescent devices have been fabricated, showing that the stability of the devices strongly depends on the stereochemistry of these phosphors and high external quantum efficiencies for the fac complexes are measured.
Journal ArticleDOI

Fluorescein and eosin as sensitizing chromophores in near-infrared luminescent ytterbium(III), neodymium(III) and erbium(III) chelates

TL;DR: In this article, a near-infrared luminescent ytterbium (III), neodymium(III) and erbium-III chelates containing organic chromophores derived from fluorescein and eosin have been synthesized and studied spectroscopically.
