Journal ArticleDOI

Enhancing and modulating the intrinsic acidity of imidazole and pyrazole through beryllium bonds.

TL;DR: The association of pyrazole and imidazole with BeX2 derivatives dramatically enhances the acidity of the azole, so the complex imidrazole:BeCl2 becomes a NH acid that is stronger than oxalic acid in the gas phase.
Journal ArticleDOI

Lone-Pair Hole on P: P···N Pnicogen Bonds Assisted by Halogen Bonds

TL;DR: EOM-CCSD spin-spin coupling constants for the binary and ternary complexes with ClCl and FCl are consistent with the changing nature of the halogen bonds in these complexes.
Journal ArticleDOI

Predicted Signs of One-Bond Spin−Spin Coupling Constants (1hJH-Y) across X−H−Y Hydrogen Bonds for Complexes with Y = 15N, 17O, and 19F

TL;DR: In this paper, a set of 44 complexes to obtain one-bond H-Y spin-spin coupling constants (1 h J H - Y ) across X-H-Y hydrogen bonds, with Y as the second-period elements 1 5 N, 1 7 O, and 1 9 F for complexes with traditional hydrogen bonds.
