TL;DR: In this paper, the authors conducted two cross-sectional online surveys with current and former smokers assessing attitudes and beliefs about e-cigarettes and found that participants were more likely to endorse the belief that using E-cigarettes would make the participant more vulnerable to getting damaged lungs.

Impact of Graphic Warning Messages on Intentions to Use Alternate Tobacco Products

TL;DR: Viewing campaigns with higher campaign-level perceived effectiveness increased the intentions to quit, which in turn increased intentions to try alternate tobacco products, increasing the tobacco control community’s understanding of unintended consequences of graphic tobacco warnings.
