Heart rate and oxygen uptake kinetics obtained from continuous measurements with wearable devices during outdoor walks of patients with COPD
Joren Buekers,Ane Arbillaga-Etxarri,Elena Gimeno-Santos,David Donaire-Gonzalez,Guillaume Chevance,Jean-Marie Aerts,Judith Garcia-Aymerich +6 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors used wearable devices during outdoor walks in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) to determine whether valid HR and V̇O2 kinetics can be obtained from measurements with wearable devices.
Journal ArticleDOI
Environmental exposures in early-life and general health in childhood
Alicia Guillien,Claire Philippat,Augusto Anguita-Ruiz,Maribel Casas,Montserrat de Castro,Audrius Dedele,Judith Garcia-Aymerich,Berit Granum,Regina Grazuleviciene,Barbara Heude,Line Småstuen Haug,Jordi Julvez,Mónica López-Vicente,Léa Maitre,Rosemary R. P237 Age at menopause and lung function: a mendelian randomization study
DA van der Plaat,Miguel Pereira,G Pesce,James Potts,Andre F.S. Amaral,S Dharmag,Judith Garcia-Aymerich,Francisco Gómez-Real,Deborah Jarvis,Cosetta Minelli,Bénédicte Leynaert +10 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that early menopause has a protective effect on airway obstruction, contradicting observational findings and seems to support previous research in mice showing that estrogens may contribute to airway remodeling.
Journal ArticleDOI
Is Autoimmunity Really Related to the Pathogenesis of COPD
Journal ArticleDOI
O-205 Night shift work and sleep deprivation in relation to vaccine induced SARS-CoV-2 antibody responses in a general population cohort (COVICAT study)
Kyriaki Papantoniou,Ana Espinosa,Marianna Karachaliou,Ruth Aguilar,Barbara Harding,A. Palomar-Cros,Gemma Castaño-Vinyals,Kurt Straif,Gemma Moncunill,Rafael de Cid,Carlota Dobaño,Judith Garcia-Aymerich,Manolis Kogevinas +12 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors examined the association of exposure to night shift work and sleep deprivation with antibody levels induced by COVID-19 vaccines and found that participants with short sleep had significantly lower IgM antibody levels compared to those that reported 7 hours of sleep.
