WITHDRAWN: Antibiotics for exacerbations of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

TL;DR: This review shows that in COPD exacerbations with increased cough and sputum purulence antibiotics, regardless of choice, reduce the risk of short-term mortality by 77%, decrease the chance of treatment failure by 53% and therisk of sputu purulence by 44%; with a small increase in the riskof diarrhoea.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors generalize the approach of the uniform definition of severe asthma presented to WHO for chronic allergic and associated diseases (rhinitis, chronic rhinosinusitis and chronic urticaria and atopic dermatitis) in order to have a unified definition of severity, control and risk, usable in most situations.

Effect of Bronchodilation, Exercise Training, and Behavior Modification on Symptoms and Physical Activity in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease.

TL;DR: Tiotropium/olodaterol, with or without ExT, improved EET in patients with COPD taking part in an SMBM program, and combined bronchodilation and exercise training did not provide additional increases in objective PA compared with SMBM alone but did reduce PA‐related dyspnea and difficulty.

TL;DR: Lung function declined more rapidly among transitional and post‐menopausal women, in particular for FVC, beyond the expected age change, and Clinicians should be aware that respiratory health often deteriorates during reproductive aging.
