TL;DR: It appears that the available methods for assessing the dietary intakes of children are, at best, able to provide unbiased estimates of energy intake only at the group level, while the food intake data of most adolescents are particularly prone to reporting error at both the group and the individual level.

Vitamin D deficiency and insufficiency in pregnant women: a longitudinal study.

TL;DR: Vitamin D status was higher in pregnant women who reported taking multivitamin supplements at 12, 20 and 35 weeks gestation than in non-supplement users, and vitamin D insufficiency was still evident even in the face of supplement use.
