TL;DR: The recent status of possible markers for the detection of overtraining syndrome is provided and it is generally thought that symptoms of OTS, such as fatigue, performance decline, and mood disturbances, are more severe than those of NFOR.

TL;DR: The recent status of possible markers for the detection of OTS is provided and several markers (hormones, performance tests, psychological tests, biochemical and immune markers) are used, but none of them meets all criteria to make its use generally accepted.

TL;DR: The preliminary findings elucidate the risk of psychosocial strain during the early COVID-19 home confinement period in 2020 and suggest implementation of national strategies focused on promoting social inclusion through a technology-based solution is strongly suggested.
