Luminescent properties and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy study of ZnAl2O4:Ce3+,Tb3+ phosphor

TL;DR: In this article, a combustion method using urea as fuel was used to improve the optical properties and crystallinity of zinc aluminate (ZnAl 2 O 4 ) nanocrystals.
Journal ArticleDOI

Enhanced green emission from UV down-converting Ce3+–Tb3+ co-activated ZnAl2O4 phosphor

TL;DR: In this paper, an enhanced down-converted green emission associated with the 5D4→7F5 transitions of Tb3+ ions was observed at 543 nm from the ZnAl2O4:Ce3++ powders.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effect of annealing temperature on nano-crystalline TiO2 for solar cell applications

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of annealing temperature (AT) on structure, morphology and optical properties of hydrothermally synthesized TiO2 nanocrystals was investigated. And the authors found that AT over the 200 to 600°C temperature range causes the band gap to decrease from 3.08 to 2.73
Journal ArticleDOI

Luminescence properties of Ce3+ and Tb3+ co-activated ZnAl2O4 phosphor

TL;DR: In this paper, a solution combustion method was used to prepare green emitting Ce 3+ -Tb 3+ co-activated ZnAl 2 O 4 phosphor, which was annealed at 700°C in air or hydrogen atmosphere to improve their crystallinity and optical properties.
