Elastic properties of heat resistant steels after long-term creep exposure
Kota Sawada,Takahito Ohmura,Toshio Ohba,Kaneaki Tsuzaki,Fujio Abe,Kazuhiro Kimura,Isamu Nonaka +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of microstructural change during ageing and creep on elastic modulus was investigated in ferritic steels and the elastic moduli of aged, crept and serviced (service-exposed) materials were investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI
Slip System Partitioning as a Possible Mechanism for Ultrafine Grain Formation in Fe–3%Si Bicrystals
TL;DR: In this paper, an Fe-3%Si bicrystal was deformed in compression to a strain of 0.9 at ambient temperature, and the interior of deformation bands, characteristic band structures with high orientation gradients and low and high angle boundaries were formed during straining.
Book ChapterDOI
Determination of α / γ phase boundaries in the Fe-Cr-Ni-Mn quaternary system with a diffusion-multiple method
TL;DR: In this article, the phase boundary between the ferrite phase and the austenite phase was determined using a diffusion-multiple technique in the iron-rich corner of the Fe-Cr-Mn-Ni quaternary system at 1000°C.
Patent
High toughness and high strength steel and its production
TL;DR: In this article, a steel is perfectly austenitized and is subjected to working of >=30% reduction of area in an austenite unrecrystallized region under the condition in which recrystallization and diffusion type phase transformation do not occur.
Book ChapterDOI
Potential Effects of Short-Range Order on Hydrogen Embrittlement of Stable Austenitic Steels—A Review
Motomichi Koyama,Motomichi Koyama,Burak Bal,Dermican Canadinc,Kishan Habib,Toshihiro Tsuchiyama,Kaneaki Tsuzaki,Kaneaki Tsuzaki,Kaneaki Tsuzaki,Eiji Akiyama +9 more
TL;DR: A review of the hydrogen embrittlement behavior of face-centered cubic (FCC) alloys with short-range order (SRO) of solute atoms is presented in this paper.
