Journal ArticleDOI
Ruthenium-catalyzed [2 + 2] cycloadditions of ynamides.
TL;DR: The ynamide moiety was found to be compatible with the ruthenium-catalyzed cycloaddition conditions, giving the corresponding cyclobutene cycloadducts in moderate to good yields.
Journal ArticleDOI
Asymmetric induction in ruthenium-catalyzed [2+2] cycloadditions between bicyclic alkenes and a chiral acetylenic acyl sultam.

Journal ArticleDOI
Ruthenium-catalyzed isomerization of oxa/azabicyclic alkenes: an expedient route for the synthesis of 1,2-naphthalene oxides and imines.
Karine Villeneuve,William Tam +1 more
TL;DR: 1,2-Naphthalene oxides and imines can be rapidly accessed through a ruthenium-catalyzed isomerization of readily available 7-oxa/azabenzonorbornadienes and these mild reaction conditions were found to be tolerant to various functional groups and the isomersization is highly regioselective.
Journal ArticleDOI
Ruthenium-catalyzed [2 + 2] cycloadditions between bicyclic alkenes and alkynyl halides.
TL;DR: Ru-catalyzed [2 + 2] cycloadditions between norbornadiene and alkynyl halides were found to occur in moderate to good yields and can be transformed into a variety of products that are difficult or impossible to obtain via directcycloaddition.
Journal ArticleDOI
Rhodium-catalyzed intramolecular [4 + 2] cycloadditions of alkynyl halides.
TL;DR: Cationic rhodium(I)-catalyzed intramolecular [4 + 2] cycloadditions of diene-tethered alkynyl halides were found to occur in good yields and could be transformed into a variety of products that are difficult or impossible to obtain via directcycloaddition.
