Journal ArticleDOI
Nasal embryonic LHRH factor (NELF) mutations in patients with normosmic hypogonadotropic hypogonadism and Kallmann syndrome
Ning Xu,Hyung Goo Kim,Balasubramanian Bhagavath,Sung Gyu Cho,Jae Ho Lee,Kyungsoo Ha,Irene Meliciani,Wolfgang Wenzel,Robert H. Podolsky,Lynn P. Chorich,Kathryn A. Stackhouse,Anna M H Grove,Lawrence N. Odom,Metin Ozata,David P. Bick,Richard J. Sherins,Soo-Hyun Kim,Richard S. Cameron,Lawrence C. Layman +18 more
TL;DR: The findings suggest that NELF is associated with normosmic IHH and KS, either singly or in combination with a mutation in another gene.
Journal ArticleDOI
O-glycan recognition and function in mice and human cancers
Gabrielle E Cervoni,Jane J. Cheng,Kathryn A. Stackhouse,Jamie Heimburg-Molinaro,Richard D. Cummings +4 more
TL;DR: O-glycosylation in murine and human cells with a focus on colorectal, breast, and pancreatic cancers is discussed, centering on the structure, function and recognition of O-glycans.
Journal ArticleDOI
Impact of diabetes in patients with pulmonary hypertension.
Abraham Abernethy,Kathryn A. Stackhouse,Stephen A. Hart,Ganesh P. Devendra,Thomas M. Bashore,Raed A. Dweik,Richard A. Krasuski +6 more
TL;DR: Diabetic patients referred for assessment of PH were more likely to have pulmonary venous disease than nondiabetic patients with PH, with hemodynamics suggesting greater right-sided diastolic dysfunction.
Journal ArticleDOI
Identification of Tn antigen O-GalNAc-expressing glycoproteins in human carcinomas using novel anti-Tn recombinant antibodies
Yasuyuki Matsumoto,Matthew R Kudelka,Matthew R Kudelka,Melinda S. Hanes,Sylvain Lehoux,Sucharita Dutta,Mark B. Jones,Kathryn A. Stackhouse,Gabrielle E Cervoni,Jamie Heimburg-Molinaro,David F. Smith,Tongzhong Ju,Tongzhong Ju,Elliot L. Chaikof,Richard D. Cummings +14 more
TL;DR: Rec recombinant Remab6 and ReBaGs6 are useful for biochemical characterization of cancer cells and IHC of tumors, and represent promising tools for Tn biomarker discovery independently of recognition of IgA1.
Journal Article
Health insurance and racial disparities in pulmonary hypertension outcomes.
Kishan S. Parikh,Kathryn A. Stackhouse,Stephen A. Hart,Thomas M. Bashore,Richard A. Krasuski +4 more
TL;DR: In a large cohort of patients with incident pulmonary hypertension, black patients had poorer right-side heart function and survival rates than white patients, however, adjustment for insurance status in this cohort removed differences in survival by race.
