TL;DR: Patients with aortic intramural hematoma had a high rate of resorption with medical treatment regardless of the affected site and further investigation is necessary to determine the optimal treatment strategy and timing of surgical intervention, especially for patients with proximal hematomas.

Duration of Dual Antiplatelet Therapy After Implantation of Drug-Eluting Stents

TL;DR: For example, the authors showed that the use of dual antiplatelet therapy for a period longer than 12 months in patients who had received drug-eluting stents was not significantly more effective than aspirin monotherapy in reducing the rate of myocardial infarction or death from cardiac causes.
