Journal ArticleDOI

G+C content variation along and among Saccharomyces cerevisiae chromosomes.

TL;DR: The results indicate that open reading frames (ORFs) with similar G+C contents at silent codon positions are significantly clustered on chromosomes, and there is no correlation between gene density and silent-site G-C content in yeast.
Journal ArticleDOI

Ninety extra nucleotide in ndhF gene of tobacco chloroplast DNA : a summary of revisions to the 1986 genome sequence

TL;DR: Corrections to the published sequence of the tobacco chloroplast genendhF are presented, including a 90 bpAlu I restriction enzyme fragment internal to the gene that was apparently missed during the original sequencing effort.
Journal ArticleDOI

Erratum: Positive darwinian selection at the imprinted MEDEA locus in plants

TL;DR: This corrects the article to show that the H2O2/H2O/O2 mixture is dominated by the H3O/ O2 mixture, rather than the O2/O3 mixture, which is more commonly known as the “love-hate mix”.
Journal ArticleDOI

Clade- and species-specific features of genome evolution in the Saccharomycetaceae.

TL;DR: Clade-specific features are reviewed, focusing on genomes sequenced in the laboratory from the post-WGD genera Naumovozyma, Kazachstania and Tetrapisispora, and from the non-W GD species Torulaspora delbrueckii.
