Impact of emulsion fuel with nano-organic additives on the performance of diesel engine
Wenming Yang,Hui An,Siaw Kiang Chou,Kian Jon Chua,Balaji Mohan,Vedharaj Sivasankaralingam,Vallinayagam Raman,Amin Maghbouli,Jing Li +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, the performance and emissions of the diesel engine fueled by the emulsion fuel are tested and compared with that of pure diesel, and the results indicate that a better brake thermal efficiency can be achieved with the EM fuel.
Journal ArticleDOI
Combustion performance and emission characteristics study of pine oil in a diesel engine
TL;DR: In this paper, a new type of biofuel, pine oil, is introduced for the purpose of fueling diesel engine, which can be directly used in diesel engine without trans-esterifying it.
Journal ArticleDOI
Intermittent drying of bioproducts--an overview.
TL;DR: An overview of the basic process, selected results from experiments and mathematical models for a variety of biomaterials dried in a wide assortment of dryers and the beneficial effects of improving the quality of dried bioproducts by different intermittent processes are included and discussed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Development of micro-thermophotovoltaic power generator with heat recuperation
TL;DR: In this paper, numerical simulation combined with experimental test is conducted to study the combustion of hydrogen-air mixture in a microcylindrical combustor with and without a heat recuperator.
Journal ArticleDOI
A thermoeconomic analysis of biomass energy for trigeneration
TL;DR: In this paper, the second law of exergy was used to evaluate the thermoeconomic potential of a steam-turbine plant for trigeneration, which employs biomass, namely, waste wood as its energy source.
