TL;DR: Altered epigenetic signatures in insulin-2 gene promoter region of Undernourished rats are not reversed by nutrient recuperation, and may contribute to the persistent detrimental metabolic profiles in similar multigenerational undernourishing human populations.
Journal ArticleDOI
Studies on wound healing potential of polyherbal formulation using in vitro and in vivo assays.
TL;DR: Polyherbal formulation prepared from the plant extracts accelerates wound healing process by proliferation and mobilization of fibroblast and keratinocytes, and angiogenesis at the site of injury and shows fast contraction of wound with its beneficial improvement in tissue biochemical and antioxidant parameters.
Journal ArticleDOI
Antioxidants of Phyllanthus emblica L. Bark Extract Provide Hepatoprotection against Ethanol-Induced Hepatic Damage: A Comparison with Silymarin.
TL;DR: The results showed that PEE was rich in total phenols, total flavonoid, and tannin content and in vitro antioxidant activities, which clearly support its strong antioxidant potential, and supported the therapeutic claims made in Ayurveda about Phyllanthus emblica.
Journal ArticleDOI
Cassia auriculata: Aspects of Safety Pharmacology and Drug Interaction
Amrutesh S. Puranik,Ganesh V. Halade,Sandeep Kumar,Ranjan Mogre,Kishori G Apte,Ashok D.B. Vaidya,Bhushan Patwardhan +6 more
TL;DR: Routine safety pharmacology studies on rats fed with standardized traditional hydro-alcoholic extract and technology-based supercritical extract of Cassia auriculata indicate that both extracts are pharmacologically safe and did not show any significant adverse reactions at the tested doses.
Journal ArticleDOI
