TL;DR: In the context of two-flavor neutrino oscillations with CPT invariance, all solutions to the solar neutrinos problem except for the "large mixing angle" region are excluded.
Journal ArticleDOI

High sensitivity search for nu;e's from the sun and other sources at KamLAND.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors obtained an upper bound of $3.7 for the expected background of $1.4$ events in the energy range of 0.28 kton yr.

Spatial Discounting, Fourier, and Racetrack Economy: A Recipe for the Analysis of Spatial Agglomeration Models

TL;DR: In this paper, an analytical approach that facilitates understanding the bifurcation mechanism of a wide class of economic models involving spatial agglomeration of economic activities is presented. But the proposed method is limited to the multi-regional core-periphery (CP) model.
